CLOTHING

  • Label 4 post-its: Toss, Donate, Sell, Keep
  • Purge everything that is stained, torn, no longer fits, duplicates or not going to wear. 
  • TOSS: the items no one else will want.
  • DONATE: the rest of the items that won't sell but someone in need can still use.
  • SELL: the types of clothing that consignment sales are looking for.
  • KEEP: what to do with items you are keeping.
  • CATERGORIZE: -shirts, pants, tanks, ts, skirts, dresses, school clothes vs. play clothes
  • ORGANIZE THE CLOSET:
    • how to hang
    • what to fold
  • ORGANIZE THE DRAWERS:
    • like items together
    • 1 category per drawer
    • easy to put away clean laundry, less items less mess w kids
    • limit items like: pjs, underwear, socks

  • TIPS:

    • Drawer dividers
    • Seasonal swap
